The county page provides a documentary path when JailTracker cannot show a past same-day release. Ask the Sheriff record for the jail exit and use the court clerk's process for a judgment, bond order, or other court document.
Keep the two record systems separate. A court docket entry may show why release was authorized, but it is not the jail door time. Likewise, a jail release time does not by itself state that every court term or supervision duty ended. Pairing both records creates a stronger account of what occurred.
Gratiot Bond Payment and Release
The Gratiot County Sheriff's official page links ExpressAccount under the label “Pay Bond to Release Inmate.” That electronic channel is distinctive local evidence that bond can be paid through a linked service. It does not prove physical release. Payment is one part of the process, and court conditions, jail processing, or another hold can still affect the person's custody status.
After a bond payment, check the current roster and call the Jail Division. Then compare the case docket or bond order in the proper Gratiot court. MI-VINE can add a custody-change alert when the reporting agency participates. It is not a daily archive. For an MDOC prisoner, parole means physical departure from prison under supervision, while discharge means MDOC jurisdiction for the sentence has ended. Neither concept should be inferred from a missing county roster name.
Confirm Gratiot Same-Day Releases
The strongest Gratiot County same-day account pairs the releasing agency's record with a second source that explains the next status. For a county release, use the Sheriff custody record plus the bond order, dismissal, sentence entry, or other court event. If the jail reports a transfer, follow that destination rather than stopping with the county roster.
